QualiTru Sampling Systems (Formerly QMI) has announced that Calvin Guyer has been selected as QualiTru’s new Chief Executive Officer. Guyer assumed the role on September 1st, 2019.
Darrell Bigalke, QualiTru’s Founder and CEO, was inspired to find a safety solution in 1985 when 114 people became ill, 28 people died and 20 pregnant mothers miscarried to due to Listeria in unpasteurized milk.* In Calvin, Darrell has found a leader who embodies the hope and vision of this growing safety focused endeavor. Confident in Guyer’s capable hands, Bigalke transitioned to Chairman of the Board on September 1st, 2019.
“I look at this as a deserved promotion. Calvin has been with our company for a couple of years in the Chief Operating Officer capacity and has proven time and time again that not only is he ready to lead this team, but he will positively impact and inspire each employee on a personal and professional level,” said Bigalke.
Prior to his role at QualiTru Sampling Systems, Guyer completed a distinguished Military Career and successfully transitioned into the private sector specializing in Financial Services, Business Consulting, and Leadership Coaching.
Guyer was introduced to the QualiTru team while he was an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of St. Thomas and Chief Energy Officer at The Carpe Diem Coach. After experiencing his teambuilding skills, strategic planning and business know how, QualiTru offered him the position of Chief Operating Officer.
Guyer grew up in many locations throughout the United States and the world but calls Iowa home. Guyer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University and a Master’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Wright State University.
